Absolutely Disgraceful?
"The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian" by Sherman Alexie was a wonderfully written, young adult novel that inspires and tells students an honest story that they can not help but connect with. However, this book was challenged by many all over the country. Why is that? In response to reading this novel our class looked at different challenges made and wrote a short paper stating our thoughts on the challenge as to why, or why not, it was in the wrong.
